Happy Summer, everyone! Thank you to those who helped out with the latest youth gathering event this past Sunday. Great planning session for VBS and then a fun off site activity at the Escape Room! See pics below. Great way to celebrate the end of school and beginning of summer!
Come Dine with the Vicar! This Thursday, June 4, the youth are having a small dinner for Vicar Watts and his new wife, Addie. Please plan on joining them in the Shepherd Center at 6pm. The Vicar will be working quite closely with the youth so this will be a good chance to get to know him and his wife. Please let Michelle Pearson know if you will be attending. July is jam packed with activities! See list below:
- NALC Continental Youth Gathering: July 7-10, Roanoke VA. Cost is $275 for the gathering itself. We have a group of 5-6 youth and two adults attending this event. This is out first time attending the NALC CYG and how awesome that our new vicar will be attending with you. There is a link to the CYG website below. Just click the red button.
- July 13th-17th is our Vacation Bible School. Volunteers are needed- please let us know if you are planning on helping out!
- July 26-30th is Confirmation Camp. This will take place at Epworth by the Sea in Georgia and the cost is $250. Those rising 7th graders through those who just graduated hight school are welcome to attend. Thank you Pastor DiBias for leading this event. Please look for the registration form outside my office in the church hallway near the youth bulletin board.
