The NALC has embraced four core values which shape our common life: Christ Centered, Mission Driven, Traditionally Grounded, and Congregationally Focused. We are a church centered on the unique Gospel of Jesus Christ, animated by missions and evangelism, grounded in the 2,000-year tradition of Christian faith, and organized chiefly to serve our congregations.
We’re not a denomination, we’re a movement. We view the local church as the place where people in the community come to get connected with God and one another. We celebrate the fact that everyone is wired a little differently; it allows each and every one of us to serve according to our own unique strengths, skills and talents.
The seminary system of the North American Lutheran Church. We prepare ourselves in the classroom, in the church, and in the world, to be pastors, teachers, evangelists, and catechists—servants who minister in Christ’s name, vessels of his mercy.
A fully-accredited college with undergraduate, graduate, and seminary programs, our focus is on learning, critical thinking, and assisting our students to fulfill their God-given calling.
