Sunday School for Children

Shepherd of the Woods offers our young ones (4yrs old to 6th grade) TWO classroom opportunities to gather together to study God’s Word and grow in faith!

Sunday during the 10:30am Worship Service

Children participate with the worshipping community hearing the lessons and being present for Holy Communion which precedes the Gospel and sermon. At the conclusion of the liturgy for Holy Communion, children ages 4 years old to 6th grade are invited to join their peers (4 years old-2nd grade and 3rd-6th grade) for Sunday School in the Shepherd Center. Moms and dads and older youth are invited remain in the sanctuary for the conclusion of worship.

To Share Christ!

Would you or your children be interested in some fellowship with other PreK4-6th grade families? I have some ideas…a picnic at Sunshine Park one afternoon or an outdoor hike at UNF nature trails. How about a Parent’s Night/Day out where parents or guardians could have four hours to themselves while the children hang out at church with some engaging activities and food?
