Sandwich Sunday is coming up on November 19th! Please note the change in time. We will gather between the services at 9:30am in the fellowship hall. There will not be confirmation class that day.
Wreaths Across America is a service project we will be participating in this year. Saturday, December 16, starting at noon. This is a community service hour event.
We are in need of drivers/chaperones for this very special event. The current plan is to carpool from church around 11 a.m., returning around 3 p.m. This description is shared on their website: “On December 16, 2023, at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), FL0323 – Friends of Jacksonville Memory Gardens will be helping Jacksonville Memory Gardens to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes.“
Equipped Youth Life retreat takes place December 29 through 10:30 worship on December 31. Youth will be staying at Villas by the Sea on Jekyll Island. Please let me know if you are interested in attending. The cost is estimated at $110 per person.
If you are interested in attending the National Youth Gathering, please let Pastor Phillips or myself know. Registration has opened. Cost, including airfare, is estimated at $1200. The dates are June 30-July 5 and takes place in Boerne, Texas.
