Stewardship: Living in God’s Abundance as Stewards of His Grace

We are blessed by God’s abundance in so many ways. We live loved by Him, redeemed by Him, led by Him and gifted by Him. Over the next few weeks, we invite you to continue reflecting on how God has blessed you through your time, talents and resources. May our prayers be shaped around how we might be stewards of these gifts and how we may participate in furthering His Kingdom and equipping others to Know Christ, to Share Christ, and to Show Christ in the World. Our Response Weekend will be Nov 18 & 19.

If you do not receive daily devotion and Ministry Matters emails, you can click the links below to access the Stewardship reflections from the last three weeks.

Stewardship Tools: Spreading God’s Generosity

  • A new “Care Square” is available for use in the church office for giving to the church. The device received debit, credit, apple pay and google pay.
  • Automated Checks – Still writing checks? Another convenient option offered by most banks and credit unions is no-cost check writing services. Many of our members use this easy process for regular offerings and the bank or credit union sends the check to our offices at no expense to you.
  • Simply Giving is a no-cost process that will provide a paperless recurring transaction (weekly or monthly) for the same amount each time. It can be stopped at any time.
  • Also, please consider remembering Shepherd of the Woods in your will as a legacy for future generations. If you would like more information regarding any of these items, please contact Rhonda Taylor, our Financial Administrator, at sotwfin@aol.com or 477-2632.
