We are having a church lock-in! All youth, 7-12th grade are invited Friday, October 6-Saturday, October 7th for a good ol’ fashioned church lock-in. Please let us know you are coming! You all love to get together and this is a great way to do so! Meet at church at around 6 pm Friday. We will provide dinner and snacks. New and improved ping pong awaits! Fun, games, and more fun will be had Friday night. Feel free to bring an air mattress as you are sleeping on the floor. Saturday morning you are invited to a Pancake Breakfast, sponsored by the Men’s Group. Then it’s time for Pumpkin Unloading at 8:45 am! This is a community service hours event. Parent pickup is about noon- following unloading and setup. See the packing list below.
Being confirmed? Confirmation will be celebrated on Sunday, October 29th at the 10:30 am worship service. Those being confirmed will meet with Pastor Phillips at 9:45 am on Sunday, October 15th and 22nd. If you are anticipating having your youth confirmed this year, please reply to this email and Pastor Phillips will be in touch with you regarding other logistics.
Lock-In Packing List:
- Change of clothes- clothes will get dirty unloading pumpkins
- Closed-toed shoes- (that can get dirty)
- Pajamas, etc
- Toiletries
- Medication
- Sleeping bag, pillow, etc- you’ll be on the floor so feel free to bring an air mattress
- Hand towel, etc to wash up in the sink
