Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 20th, 10:30-3pm. We are getting together for 10:30 worship followed by lunch, Sandwich Sunday service project, and a ping-pong tournament! You all had so much fun playing ping pong at camp, that we have purchased more paddles, nets and lots of ping pong balls This is a great day to get together and visit with friends from camp and perhaps new friends too! We will be making sandwiches and bag lunches for St Francis Shelter in St Augustine. This is a great way to serve your community and to earn service hours for school. Our goal is to make 200 bag lunches. Join us August 20th! Plan on a fun afternoon!

At 11:45am on Sunday, August 20th, we will be having a brief parent meeting to go over the upcoming semester and plans for Youth Life this school year. Please join the Pastors in the Annex Classroom south.
And then at 12:15, Sunday, August 20th, we will be having a Youth Leader training meeting with Pastor Phillips. If you are interested in working with 7th-12th grade youth, please join us in Annex Classroom south for this very informative and important meeting.

While it seems very far into the future, the pumpkins are coming! Mark you calendars for Saturday, October 7th, 9am for pumpkin unloading, another community service opportunity. The pumpkin patch will be open October 8-31st. Shifts are available daily and will count towards your community service hours requirement at school. Please consider volunteering your time. You will also earn credits towards upcoming youth events such as the National Youth Gathering, Confirmation Camp and Rock the Universe.
The NALC National Youth Gathering is happening next July 1-4, 2024 in Boerne, Texas. Fundraising opportunities start with the Pumpkin Patch. Many more are planned. Cost and logistics are TBD. This event is open to 7th-12th grade youth, older youth are also invited to attend.
Dates for Confirmation Camp 2024 have been announced! Mark your calendars for July 21-25, 2024. Cost and location TBD.
