City Rescue Mission Life Changers Ministry – We are sponsoring 15 women who are participating in a year-long residential program that provides educational, work training, life skills and faith-based support. We are seeking to offer a few small gifts to each of these ladies. If you would like to help, please select and sign out a tag from the display in the Gathering Area and returned your wrapped item by Sun., Dec 11.
Angel Tree – We have children’s a few gift tags remaining and invite you to participate as you are able. We receive names from Angel Aid – an organization that supports terminally ill children and their families – and each child has name one item they are hoping to receive. If you prefer to make a financial donation, that is also greatly appreciated and will be used to buy additional items for the children.
Holiday Basket Needs – We are collecting non-perishables for our friends in ministry at Angel Aid for their family Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets. There will be a specially marked bin in the Gathering Area for this food drive. You are welcome to continue providing items to our food pantry during the drive.
Most Needed are: canned fruit and vegetables, boxed stuffing, instant potatoes, jars of gravy of gravy mix, baking items, cranberry sauce. Grocery store gift cards and financial donations are also appreciated. Just mark your check or envelope Holiday Basket or use the Care Square for debit/credit donations.
Meal Support Needed – One of our members, Christi Hilbrant, was in a serious automobile accident a few weeks ago and is still in ICU facing multiple surgeries and an extensive recuperation.
