Shepherd Shelves Update – we are making a change to our service hours – Beginning July 30, we will modify our pantry hours to Thursdays only, 9am to 1pm.
Since opening in September 2025, we have made several changes based on the needs of the community, the availability of donations and the availability of volunteers. We are currently receiving outside food donations from a few grocery stores and fast-food restaurants on Wednesdays and see our biggest numbers of visitors (usually between 70 and 80) on Thursdays. Volunteers coordinate the pantry, and we invite you to be a part of this ministry. You will be blessed! If you would like to support the pantry by working in the pantry, by picking up items from stores or by helping the staff with shopping, please indicate on the yellow insert.
Current Needs – we need all types of canned items (fruit, veggies, meats, tuna, beans), pastas & sauces, rice, cereal, oatmeal, jams, toiletries, laundry items, and refrigerated items such as eggs, milk, butter, cheeses and lunch meats. Shelf stable items may be placed in the collection bins in the Gathering Area. Cold items can be given to a pastor or staff member or placed in the fridge in the kitchenette in the Gathering Area. We have an abundance of egg cartons (thank you) but now need plastic or reusable grocery bags!
