Our annual Yard Sale will be Saturday, March 23rd and our storage pods have arrived! Please consider donating gently used items you no longer want – clothing, luggage, housewares, toys, seasonal decorations, electronics, bedding, lamps, decorative items, artwork, and even furniture and appliances.

We kindly ask that you separate clothing, shoes and accessories as one pod will be dedicated to these donations. There will also be specially marked pods for Furniture and for Household items. Whenever possible, please put donations in boxes with lids so they can be stacked to maximize our storage space. We are very appreciative of your cooperation and support with this.

Pods will be unloaded Tues, March 19. We gather for a quick dinner at 5:30pm and begin unloading at 6:00pm. Many hands make light work! If you can’t get there at that time, come when you can! We are always blessed by donations and by volunteers so mark your calendars for the week of March 18; we will be working every day! Please sign up on the Yard Sale insert if you can help.

We need volunteers to transport larger items for people who are not physically able to do so
themselves. If you have a truck or trailer that you can loan us for pick-ups, or you are able to pick up items yourself, please indicate on the Yellow Insert. If you don’t have the right vehicle but are willing to assist with pick-ups, please let us know that as well.

And finally – we especially need as many helping hands as possible this year at 1pm the day of the sale. Our regular partners-in-ministry, Angel Aid, will not be able to load and transport what is left at the end of the sale. We have been very blessed to connect with Hope’s Closet Thrift Store which is operated by the Eleven 22 church. It serves several vital and impactful ministries throughout Jacksonville. They can receive our leftovers but not able to help with loading or transporting. We have a local moving company who is donating a 26-foot truck and a driver, but we will need “all hands on deck” to pack and load the remaining items. Even if you are not able to serve during the sale (6am-1pm) but are able to come at 1:00pm to help with this big job, we would be grateful for all help!! Invite friends to serve with you!
