We need Wavers to greet the community before EVERY service, EVERY weekend!!!
But it only works if we have volunteers. A Pastor is almost always out waving but it sends a special message when our people are out greeting as well. please consider offering the gift of your time once per quarter or once per month to just stand out and say hello to our neighbors. No experience or training necessary!!!! You are welcome to take a camp chair or sun umbrella. From there all you need is a friendly smile and a wave!! You can sign up for any weekend using the Yellow Connect Card insert.
Shepherd of the Woods has come to be recognized by our neighbors and identifies us as a friendly and welcoming place to worship. We have had many visitors comment that the wavers are what spurred them to check us out!!
