The Call Committee met on April 24th and May 19th and is working with Pastor Shelly Schultz, the NALC Call Process Coordinator, to fill the Senior Pastor vacancy at Shepherd of the Woods. We are moving forward and the next step is a Congregational Workshop this summer. We ask for the congregation’s prayers at this time as the Committee continues to meet and plan the Workshop.
Gracious God, renew us daily in the peace, hope, and eternal life we have been promised and which we have been called to proclaim. As this group works to call a Senior Pastor to our congregation, we ask you to hear the prayers of this community of faith, to uphold the members of the Call Committee and thank you for Your gifts of wisdom and discernment. We trust Your Spirit to guide us and for Your will to be revealed. We remember, God, you are the One who called us First. Amen.
