Pastor Eric Swensson will be leading “Secularism: Threat or Opportunity?” – a four week study on being an evangelical people in our changing culture. Vibrant faith in the Triune God can survive in a secular culture, but it flourishes only within a Christian community that models discipleship and loving service. The fact is we live in a world shaped by secularism, pluralism, consumerism, and materialism, and Christians face real pressures that erode authentic faith. Yet, a church centered on Word and Sacrament ministry, with a Lutheran emphasis on grace and vocation, will flourish for generations (John 15:16). The first of four sessions will be on Wed., July 16 at 6:30pm. If you are interested in participating, please sign up on the yellow Connect Card. At the end of the four-week series, the regular Wednesday Bible study program will resume on August 16th.
