Update From Peru – September 10th

The team made it safely to Tarma on Tuesday evening and have sent this video greeting – not the best quality but a greeting nonetheless!! On Wednesday they began the long trek to Tarma with the requisite stop for lunch!! It is winter in the southern hemisphere for sure. We understand that work is underway renovating the kitchen and two new outdoor murals are in the works! And it is a beautiful, sunny 60 degrees in Tarma today. Stay tuned for more updates.

Shepherd of the Woods has been in mission in Peru since 2005. We’ve been blessed to make numerous trips over the years to share God’s love and hope and the Good News of Jesus Christ through word and deed. God has been at work through us and countless lives have been touched. We often say that we are blessed to be a blessing, and the mission work we do in Peru is no exception! God’s work is being done 3000 miles away through you.
