Important Pumpkin Dates to Remember – Yes, we are thinking about pumpkins, and our delivery date is getting closer!! Please mark your calendar for these important dates!
- Patch Set-up and Decorating – we need strong helpers for the fencing and the maze and lots of helping hands for decorating – Monday, Oct 6 – Friday, Oct 10. If you have an interest in serving with either the “heavier” set-up like fencing, the maze, etc. or with lighter work like lights and decorating, please sign up on the yellow Connect Card and we will contact you about your availability.
- Pumpkin Volunteers Breakfast – The Men’s Bible Study Group is hosting breakfast with pancakes, egg casseroles, breads, yogurt, etc. so all will be fortified for the pumpkin labor ahead. Please join us by 8:15am in the Fellowship Hall on the 11th!!!
- Pumpkin Unloading – the truck is currently scheduled for Sat, October 11 at 9:00am. We need all strength levels to offload the pumpkins from the semi, truck owners to help move pumpkins to the patch and then folks to offload the pick-up trucks. If you have a wagon or wheelbarrow and can bring it, please do so. Please sign up on the yellow Connect Card.
- Patch Volunteers -– we need several shifts of volunteers daily from Sunday, Oct 12th through Friday, Oct 31st. Most are 2 or 3-hour shifts; you work with others, and we provide all the instruction you need. It’s fun, it’s easy and you can invite friends and family to volunteer with you! The sign-up charts are now in the Gathering Area, or you can use the orange Patch Insert in today’s Announcements.
- Save the Date – Party in the Patch – Saturday, October 25, 11:00am – 1:00pm – kids’ games & food trucks!
