Confirmation Camp is here!!!!!
That’s right! It’s time for Confirmation Camp! You all will meet Sunday for worship at 10:30, have lunch, complete two service projects and then go to Epworth mid-afternoon. Thank you to our drivers!!!!! Please see the note below and review the packing list (click on the red button) to be sure you have all that you need for camp. See you Sunday!!!
Dear Parents and Confirmation Camp Participant,
It is hard to believe camp is just around the corner! We are blessed to have your youth participating in the camp, and it promises to be a Spirit-filled time of study, reflection, service, and fellowship! As a reminder, Camp is offsite again this year. Camp will be held at the beautiful Epworth by the Sea, St Simons Island, GA.
**ALL Counselors, CIT’s and Campers should arrive on Sunday, July 27th for the 10:30 worship service. Camp begins in worship! Youth will sit together in the sanctuary (unless you are serving in some way). Luggage and sleeping items may be dropped off before worship and put in the “annex north” classroom just off the fellowship hall. No worries, we’ll help you find the room if you don’t know where it is. Just ask a pastor or Rhonda Taylor! The packing list is attached.
Following worship, the youth will eat lunch and complete the 5-5-5 service project (and perhaps another project) before departing for Epworth Retreat Center for a week of study and reflection. We anticipate parent pick up to be on Thursday, July 31st at between 11:30am – Noon at the church.
We may need one willing driver to drive to and from both days as the cars will be full of youth & trunks only have so much space. If you have possible availability on Sunday, July 27th or Thursday, July 31st, please reply to this email to let me know. I will confirm one way or the other if your assistance is needed.
Youth are also encouraged to bring any games/balls with them for indoor and outdoor activities.
