It’s Here Already – Time to Unload the Pumpkins! – Our truck is scheduled for Saturday, October 4 at 9:00 am. It would be great to have everyone in place a little before that. We will have some light breakfast items – Bagels, doughnuts, fruit – from 8:15 to 8:45 am in the Gathering Area.
- Sign up on the Orange Insert or in the Gathering Area today
- Wear close-toed shoes, clothes that can get dirty and, if you want, garden gloves and hat.
- Bring your refillable water bottle & sunscreen is always good idea!!
- Bring a wheelbarrow or hard-side garden wagon if you have one.
Please let us know if you have a pick-up truck and can be on hand – we offload pumpkins into the trucks and then to the patch to get the semi off the service road faster! Sometimes things happen while our truck is en route, and deliveries have been delayed a few times over the years. Please watch for emails and Facebook posts to confirm our delivery time.
We need Patch Volunteers from Sunday, October 4th when we open at Noon through the 31st. Use the Orange Insert or sign up on the boards. Invite a friend or relative and serve together. Volunteering is fun & easy and, if you are new, we can train you quickly!! All funds raised benefit our Food Pantry and our Children’s and Youth Ministries. We need help weekday mornings with preschool field trips and evenings and weekends for the regular Patch!
