In February the benevolence Committee approved donations to SON – Spiritual Orphans network. This organization has strong ties to NALC and LCMC and serves in Eastern European countries to reignite Christianity in former Soviet and communist countries. Also, to Water Mission, a non-profit committed to bringing clean drinking water to impoverished communities and to Heifer International, an organization providing livestock for breeding to villages all over the world. We also provided matching funds for Souper Bowl of Caring and to the Come Dine with Us youth fundraiser. These gifts honor our commitment as a congregation to send 5% of all undesignated giving to neighbors in need. Thank you for your financial contributions and the unseen impacts they generate!
