All I can say is that was one amazing way to close off 50 years serving as a pastor. So many of you sent gifts and cards and stayed for multiple fellowships. Special thanks to all those who did so much to prepare for the multiple fellowship gatherings. As has always been the case in the churches I’ve served, the members and friends of our churches have filled our lives with joy and love. I cannot imagine a more fulfilling life than the one we have had in pastoral
ministry. I want to thank each one of you for the blessing you were this past Anniversary Sunday and that you have been for so long. Thank you for your kindness and understanding, especially as I “age in place,” while seeking to continue to serve. You are all tremendous blessings to me and my family.
