Saturday 4:00pm Bible Study – Divine Drama Bible Study continues with Part Two. Jesus says, we live “by every word that comes from the mouth of God,” (Matthew 4:4) which includes every word in our Bibles. Pr. Harry Wendt, a Lutheran pastor, developed a series of Bible studies that have helped many Christians around the world grasp a clearer picture of the Bible’s overall story with greater understanding. His studies use illustrations coupled with readings from the Bible that help us see the point of God’s Word.
One of his main studies is Divine Drama, which is divided into two parts: 1) the Biblical Narrative and 2) Our Narrative. Our Saturday Bible Study group is wrapping up Part 1, the narrative of God’s plan for redeeming His creation and we will be delving into part 2, Our Narrative, that describes our role in the drama as Jesus’ disciples. Our Narrative explores basic Christian teaching in 14 chapters. Topics such as the Trinity, prayer, stewardship, and the Church, are covered from a biblical perspective.
