Shepherd Shelves

THANK YOU for your generous support of this ministry. We are blessed to support many families, and the congregation’s faithfulness has had an impact on our surrounding community. We gladly receive fresh, frozen and shelf-stable items. Please put dry goods on the marked shelf in the Gathering Area to be weighed and give cold items to a staff member.

Our current needs are rice, pasta, canned tomatoes & sauces, all types of canned veggies (especially green beans, potatoes, carrots), canned meats & tuna, and condiments. We would also like to add Hispanic cuisine items like spices, frozen plantains, tortillas, canned peppers, and chiles.

As we seek to expand our Shepherd’s Shelves ministry in the future, we will have a need for several regular volunteers to greet visitors, assist them with food selection and maintain our records. If you would have an interest in serving one day per month or more (much like we maintain our Meals on Wheels driver schedules), please indicate your interest on the yellow Connect Card.
