The pantry is open Tuesdays & Fridays from 11am to 1pm and Sundays, Noon to 2pm. Volunteers staff Shepherd Shelves and we welcome donations of food items as well as financial support. When writing checks please note “food pantry” or “Shepherd Shelves” on the memo line. The Care Square has a specific Shepherd Shelves icon to make donations through it.
Present needs are: canned and frozen meats, peanut butter, flour, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, rice, canned veggies, condiments, paper products, dish soap, fresh bread, jams/jellies, pastas & pasta sauces, canned fruits, applesauce and toiletries. If you are a Thrivent member, you can apply for an action team card and get $250 to purchase items for food donations. Speak with Jackie Hudson for more information on this ministry.
