The Shepherd’s Shelves is a ministry of Shepherd of the Woods that extends Christ’s love and care by providing food to those who are hungry. Since 2022 you have generously donated and provided over 21,00 pounds of food (2022 – 3100lbs, 2023 – 4600lbs, 2024 – 7100lbs, 2025 – 6300lbs to date). Your support has blessed countless families struggling to make ends meet. We also have items specifically available to the homeless who have limited or no cooking capabilities. Your generosity provides comfort and hope to those struggling with food insecurity or scarcity.
Beginning Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the hours for Shepherd’s Shelves will be Tuesday & Friday. 11:00 am – 1:00 pm; Sunday from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. We will continue to offer food as people show up but will encourage them to visit during set hours as they are able. Appointments can also be made.
