Each month we set aside 10% of undesignated giving to support a variety of ministries in Christian love and care. In December, our Benevolence ministry supported global and local causes:
- Mercy Chefs – an international non-profit feeding people in dire circumstances
- St. Francis Shelter/Port in the Storm – serving the homeless in St. John’s County
- Family Promise of Jacksonville – helping families return to home rental
- Dakota Boys & Girls Ranch – providing a loving home environment to children
- Two Florida NALC congregations with special financial needs – Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Dade City, FL & Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pensacola, FL.
