Maundy Thursday – provides us the opportunity to recall Jesus’ last supper with his closest friends, during which he institutes what we call The Last Supper (the sacrament of Holy Communion). As a sign of his servant love, Jesus washes his disciples’ feet and gives them a new commandment, that they should love one another as he has loved them. We gather at Noon and at 6:30pm for worship with symbolic foot washing, to celebrate Holy Communion and the service concludes with the stripping of the altar.
